Molly's Story.....

Molly never aspired to become a medium, as she stood among those who had little faith in such practices. She grew up understanding that she had certain gifts and abilities which she could not explain, but never contemplating that they might someday become so strong that their use to assists others would be unavoidable. Molly was, however, drawn by a need to help others in the process of living, loving, and coping with the challenges of everyday life. Having been formally trained in psychology, counseling, and coping, Molly spent several years of her life as a traveling health services provider, learning first hand about the realities of life, death, and the pain associated with life’s unanswered questions.

She voluntarily chose to provide full time counseling to hard-core criminals, not fully understanding her natural affinity toward understanding good, evil, and the barriers which separate us from fully understanding ourselves, as well as the barriers which separate us from the outside world. Subsequent to her years as a counselor, Molly’s life took another unexpected turn as she found a natural affinity for the practice of Yoga and its ability to transform the mind, body, and spirit in a way that included mental and physical manipulation of one’s own body. The results she witnessed both in herself and in others gained through the practice of Yoga allowed her to open her mind to the possibility that there are energies at work all around us, and the ability to harness and guide this energy might be the ultimate secret to peace, healing, and comfort.

Her obsession with the results she witnessed in Yoga immediately motivated her to dedicate countless hours towards honing her physical and mental sharpness as she trained with masters of the practice such as Todd Norian and Rolf Gates, practicing varieties such as Hatha Yoga and Power Vinyasa Yoga. She quickly gained respect as an instructor and manager of a premier yoga organization, developing a significant and loyal following among those who witnessed her natural gift of harnessing emotional and physical energy in a way which cleared the mind, body, and spirit; with students feeling emotionally calm, spiritually confident, and physically strong as they evolved from her 90 minute sessions.

Having seen the strength of energy harnessed in Yoga, Molly began to explore other forms of capturing natural energy and its application to emotional and physical healing. She discovered the long-proven but somewhat mysterious practice of Japanese healing known as Reiki which connects divine knowledge (Rei) to the life force energy (ki). Although Reiki is practiced throughout the world by those with varying degrees of spirituality and intellect, its founder, Dr. Mikao Usui, repeatedly reported that practitioners who maintained the Reiki Ideals and possessed exceptional gifts of healing, energy, spiritual strength could produced the most miraculous results.

As Molly began her Reiki training, her Reiki Masters immediately recognized that Molly had the natural gifts and talents required to produce results that even they could not achieve, taking the rare step of requesting that she perform Reiki on them such that they could feel the enormity of her gifts; reporting that she was “A unique hands-on” practitioner with special abilities to connect with her patients… extremely intuitive and unequaled in her ability to detect physical and emotional imbalances”. Without any marketing effort whatsoever, Molly quickly developed a devoted following of Reiki patients eager to report her remarkable gifts to others. Her patient list quickly expanded from those seeking to raise their already high emotional and physical energy to cancer patients, patients with terminal illness, children with special needs, elderly, mental and emotional illness patients, and individuals with sports related injuries; with the medical community at a local hospital’s cancer center acknowledging and recognizing her healing talents.

She soon found herself struggling to maintain both her Yoga practice and the rapidly expanding demand from more Reiki patients, expanding her daily routine from 5am to 9pm, with the entire 17 hours dedicated to satisfying the demands of Yoga, Reiki, and the exploration of energy work. However, the rewards of seeing results with each student, each patient, and each family member fueled her desire to come closer to a place of understanding the ever broadening realm of what Molly was now calling “Energy work”. The term applied to the Yoga, the Reiki, and the overall focus on mind and body.

Molly was thankful… thankful for the gift of emotional and physical clarity, thankful for the ability to harness the energy, and most of all thankful for the opportunity to help others find peace and comfort through her Energy Work. Molly knew there was much more work to do, but she had no idea that her voyage into the healing power of mind and spirit had only just begun. With no prior experience or exposure in the realm of spiritual readings, psychics, mediums, or communication with the other side, Molly began getting detailed information from unexplainable sources. The information first came during the Reiki sessions, when Molly recognized more specific and vivid presences within the room during the sessions. She attempted to suppress the presences, as they seemed to have no relevance to the Energy Work and she viewed them as an unwanted distraction to her mission. She eventually found it impossible to suppress the spiritual presence(s) that began inhabiting her Reiki sessions, and decided that perhaps they were not distractions but instead guides.

Her intuitive ability to recognize her patients physical and mental imbalances had been one of the key elements in allowing her to excel at the Energy Work, perhaps this was yet another gift being offered to her as a means of increasing the focus and intensity of the work, guiding her with more specific information regarding the physical, spiritual, and emotional needs of her patients. The information offered through this presence (Which Molly later learned were spiritual guides) was often very valuable to her understanding of the patient, but Molly began to feel uncomfortable with the fact that she was not sharing the information directly with her patients; for perhaps it meant even more to them than it did to her. It was a difficult choice, her students and patients were clearly elated with the Energy Work and she had seen its miracles, but messages sent from a source she could not explain? Spirits? Communication? Molly had begun to read about her most recently unveiled gift and she understood that what she was experiencing was the channeling associated with being a medium.

She also understood that although certain high profile mediums like John Edward had brought this phenomenon more into the mainstream, there were also many skeptics. She had faced almost no skepticism in her Yoga practice, and all of those who had experienced the Reiki were instant believers. She was successful, happy, and thankful. Her students and patients were loyal followers who spread the word like wildfire. Was there really any need to risk the potential repercussions of going public with her new-found ability? It was a difficult decision. There was her large and close-knit family to consider… how would they react? How would her friends feel? Would it compromise all of the good Energy Work, the success stories, the miracles?

Soon Molly's worries no longer mattered because Pandora’s box was open, and there was no closing it. Information began to come outside of the Reiki sessions. While visiting a friend’s house on Cape Cod in July of 2006, a painting on the wall triggered a spiritual visit of tremendous clarity and detail. Although Molly had been yielding to the urge to act as a medium from time-to-time during Reiki sessions, she had not yet gone “Public” with her gift and many of her friends were unaware of her secret. She hesitated briefly, but then began to deliver another detailed accounting… it was the friend’s aunt, and she was coming in with incredible detail and clarity, as Molly’s bewildered friend began to confirm every last detail.

The following week, while visiting her close friend Jonathan in New York City, Molly decided to attempt her first planned, intentional reading. Having never had any professional instruction or formal training, she sat down in a NYC penthouse apartment,  dimly lit by a single candle, and began her first reading. Prior to beginning the reading she pondered… if I get it all wrong will Jonathan think I’ve turned into a total quack? Maybe the channeling only works when IT wants to and I can’t control it? What if Jonathan does not have any spirits that wish to communicate with him? She began to feel anxious but then realized that if the reading went poorly it would not necessarily mean that her gift was not real, it might simply mean that it was reserved for those times when the spirits CHOSE to make themselves present, and that she could not instigate the communication. She began the reading with meditation… not because anyone had specifically instructed her to do so, but because it was a comfortable means for her to clear the mind, body, and soul; essentially freeing herself for what would occur next… And what DID occur next would forever change Molly’s life. Before she could even complete her planned meditation, the spirits and their rapid-fire information and images arrived in full force, providing the kind of detail and clarity that could not be denied.

One reading led to ten… ten led to one hundred… and one hundred led to losing count.

Many experts on the topics of mediums, channeling, and communication with the outside world attempt to explain the heightened powers of Molly (No pun intended) by reviewing the fundamental means by which the communication of channeling occurs. Internationally acclaimed psychic John Edwards, in his book One Last Time, writes:

“All of us - we in physical bodies and those in the spirit world - are made up of energy expressed as atoms and molecules spinning and vibrating at certain speeds. The energy of spirits vibrates at a very high rate, while ours goes much slower because we are in physical bodies. How we bridge the gap dictates how well communications traverse these two dimensions. That’s the job of a medium. For spirits to come through they must slow their vibrational rate of energy. Think of the blades of a helicopter. You can’t see that there are four of them because they are spinning too fast. That’s how I view the energy of the spirits. What happens during the reading is that as the spirits slow down their energy, I speed up mine.”

Medium experts suggest that Molly’s extraordinary ability comes from her abnormally high energy level… physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Her natural vibrational rate of energy is “Through the roof and off the charts”, as witnessed by those who have attended Molly’s personal appearances in which she tells her life’s story and the evolution of her gifts.

I sat in awe at the incredible energy surrounding Molly as she spoke about her life’s story and the miracles of meditation, energy, and healing. I literally witnessed an aura surrounding her that left no doubt that she possessed rare and special gifts unlike anyone I had ever met.”

Still other experts, some of which are skeptical of most mediums, believe that Molly’s gifts come from an intrinsic healing capacity that all humans have and rarely manifest. The medical community of psychotherapist, psychologists, and healers have long acknowledged that body-oriented psychotherapies such as Somatic Experiencing (SE) allows capable users to track sensation in the body to elicit the intrinsic healing of the body. Often people who are exposed to significant trauma ultimately employ their own version of body-oriented psychotherapy to essentially heal themselves. The validity of this result can be seen in numerous stories about individuals who survive life-threatening events (War, assault, auto crashes, personal injury, etc.) with little chance of survival, only to overcome them and evolve with a heightened clarity of mind, body, and spirit.

Experts who adhere to this theory believe that it is the tragedy or trauma in Molly’s life which left her with the special gifts she has today. Molly speaks about this trauma when she tells her life’s story, but stops short of embracing any specific theory on why she holds the gifts of energy, healing, and channeling. “Life is a very complex puzzle and all of the events of our lives work to shape us… emotionally, spiritually, and physically. As a newborn I underwent life-saving surgery with the doctor reporting to my mother that I would likely not survive. As a teenager I suffered tremendous trauma through an assault. At age 34 I was driving all over New England counseling with elderly patients who were experiencing the final stages of death and dying, often bonding with them and ultimately attending their funerals. In my late 20s I was counseling prisoners who had committed the most horrid of offenses. I continued my work, assisting neglected and special needs students. My family had great admiration for my endeavors, but I also think it was painful for them to see me drawn into the inner circle of so much tragedy, trauma, misfortunate, and perceived sadness. By the time I was 35, I was intimately familiar with death, dying, tragedy, and trauma in ways that most people may never be able to understand. It was a bit extreme, but I realize now that it allowed me to be able to see the joyous extremes on the opposite end of the spectrum, including the healing and comfort associated with my energy work and readings. If I had to go there in order to manifest the gifts that I have today… it was well worth it.”
